The Department of Meteorology warned of the possibility of rain and snow in 28 provinces

The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has warned of the possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in 28 provinces, including the Salang highway.

The announcement of this department states that there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in the provinces of Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kabul, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Ghazni, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Parwan, Maidan Wardag, Bamiyan,Samangan, Daikundi, Ghor, Sarpol, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Badghis and Herat, including Salang highway.

The Department of Meteorology has predicted the amount of rainfall in different places between 15 and 40 mm and the amount of snowfall in different places between 15 and 50 cm.

It should be mentioned that the residents of most provinces of Afghanistan have witnessed unprecedented cold and heavy snowfall during the past month.
