Sada e Banwan Radio started operating again in Badakhshan

Broadcasting of the Sada e Banwan Radio in Badakhshan province, which was stopped by the Department of Information and Culture in Badakhshan province, resumed its activities.

Muizuddeen Ahmadi, head of information and culture of Badakhshan Province, confirms this issue and says that this department has issued the permission to operate this radio and the manager of this radio has given a commitment to comply with the broadcasting policy of the Islamic Emirate system.

The broadcasts of this radio were stopped a week ago by the officials of the Intelligence and Culture Department of the Taliban in Badakhshan.

The head of information and culture of Badakhshan province at that time stated that the reason for the suspension of the broadcasts of this radio was the broadcasting of songs during the month of Ramadan and non-compliance with the broadcasting regulations of the Islamic Emirate.
