An old man committed suicide in Takhar

Local sources in Takhar say that an old man in this province died by shooting himself.

Sources say that this 70-year-old man committed suicide today (Friday) in Yengi Qala district of Takhar province by shooting himself with a shotgun.

At the same time, officials in Takhar Police Command say that this man’s name is Abdul Ahmed and he committed suicide due to mental problems.

According to them, more research is going on about this incident.

It should be noted that the number of suicides in Afghanistan has increased in recent years.
