Thomas West talks to officials in London and Abu Dhabi about Afghanistan’s interests

Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan affairs, says that he will travel to London and Abu Dhabi to discuss Afghanistan’s interests.
He wrote in a tweet that he will visit London and Abu Dhabi for 4 days this week to talk with the officials of those countries about common resources in Afghanistan.
The US special representative for Afghanistan has previously discussed the challenges and participation of the international community in this country in a meeting with former government officials and members of the Afghan civil society in Istanbul.
Thomas West emphasized that dialogue is a peaceful solution to solve the challenges in Afghanistan and not violence.
He added that in this meeting, he emphasized the permanent commitment of the United States to the people of Afghanistan, the determination of the United States to cooperate with others to deal with the humanitarian crisis, and to support dialogue among Afghans about the future of their country.
