The Central Bank of Afghanistan announced the fire of nearly 119 million Afghanis of old banknotes

Da Afghanistan Bank has announced that a delegation from this bank burned 118,855,000 worn-out banknotes during their trip to Nangarhar Province.

This bank said in a newsletter that Noor Ahmad Agha, the first deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank, asked the citizens of the country to use Afghani money in their commercial transactions and daily transactions and pay attention to the proper protection and storage of the banknotes.

This is while Da Afghanistan Bank recently announced the distribution of new banknotes to the market.
