Hundreds of houses were destroyed after the floods in Baghlan

Local authorities in Baghlan report the destruction of hundreds of residential houses after the floods in this province.

Hedayatullah Hedayat, Head of Baghlan Disasters, says that due to the floods in the villages of “Jat Cheshme Jangan, Dehne Bala and Zir Qolai” in Dehne Ghori district of Baghlan, the residents of this province have suffered financial losses.

He added that as a result of these floods, hundreds of residential houses in the mentioned districts were destroyed and huge financial losses were left behind.

Recently, the EU delegation in Afghanistan said that climate change is expected to cause more damage to the lives of Afghan people.
