Nearly 2 thousand Afghan immigrants returned to Afghanistan from Iran

The Ministry of Migration Affairs has announced that nearly two thousand Afghan migrants have returned to Afghanistan from Iran.

The ministry wrote on page X that 1,957 Afghan immigrants living in Iran voluntarily and forcibly returned to Afghanistan through the Herat’s Islam Qala border.

The Ministry of Migration Affairs added that 825 of the returned migrants were forced to return to Afghanistan and 78 returned voluntarily.

According to this ministry, among the mentioned people, 341 of them were introduced to the United Nations Migration Office for assistance and received food and non-food items.
