Taliban: Afghanistan has not been invited to the UN Climate Change Conference

The National Environmental Protection Agency says that Afghanistan was not invited to the 28th UN Climate Change Conference held in Dubai.

In a statement, this department said that no representative from Afghanistan has been invited to the 8th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP) which will be held from November 30 to December 12 in Dubai.

The Department of Environmental Protection added that due to political considerations, Afghan representatives were not invited to this meeting.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates is going to host the 28th meeting of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai Expo City from November 30 to December 12 this year.

The United Arab Emirates will be the second Middle East country after Egypt to host the COP28 meeting.
