The amount of liquefied gas imported from Russia to Afghanistan doubled
Reuters has reported that the amount of liquefied natural gas imported from Russia to Afghanistan has doubled compared to last year.
According to this report, the import of liquefied gas from Russia to Afghanistan by rail in the months of January to November exceeds 176,000 tons, which shows a doubling of the import of liquefied gas compared to last year.
Last year, the Islamic Emirate and Russia signed a contract to import oil and wheat to Afghanistan.
This was the first major international economic agreement that the Taliban made since returning to power.
