The head of the International Organization for Migration met Mottaqi

Ms. Amy Pope, head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and her accompanying delegation met with Amir Khan Mottaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.

Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the ministry, wrote on page X that in this meeting, the parties discussed the situation of Afghan immigrants in different countries, forced migration of Afghan immigrants from Pakistan, facilitation of legal immigration and other related issues.

According to him, in this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs called the assistance of the International Organization for Migration necessary for the resettlement of refugees in Afghanistan.

In this meeting, the head of the International Organization for Migration regretted the politicization of the immigration issue and said that this organization not only works to return immigrants to their original countries, but also works to facilitate legal immigration.
