Acting Minister of Mines Meets Chinese, Russian and Afghan Investors

Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum Shahabuddin Delavar met with some Chinese, Russian and Afghan investors on various issues, including investment opportunities in the mineral resources sector of the country.

In a statement, the Deputy and Petroleum Ministry quoted Mr. Delavar as saying that the Islamic Emirate welcomes all countries in the field of investment in the mineral resources sector of the country and will provide facilities for investors in this sector.

The Russian investor expressed his interest in investing in Afghanistan’s mining sectors, particularly Nefayat, Azure Lazuli and Marmar, according to the statement.
