Afghan boxer won gold medal in European competition

Zalaghi Laghmani, the national member of the Afghanistan Boxing Federation, has won a gold medal in European competitions.

The Afghanistan Boxing Federation said that Mr. Laghmani had participated in the Olympic quota competitions on behalf of Afghanistan.

The federation added that Laghmani won three consecutive victories against athletes from Bosnia and Serbia in the 63 kg weight.

These competitions were hosted by Bosnia.
