Dr. Qalandar Ebad، Minister of Public Health، met with The Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan، Cenk Unal، in his office

The meeting discussed joint cooperation in the field of health، the capacity-raising of Afghan health personnel، Turkey’s contribution to health، and further cooperation between the two countries.

The Minister called the relations between Afghanistan and Turkey necessary، and the Minister thanked ataturk children’s specialty hospital and health centers established by Turkey in the northern provinces (Jawzjan، Faryab and Takhar).

The Minister also said that the capacity of Afghan health personnel is one of our priorities and we are trying different ways to improve the capacity of Afghan health personnel.

Turkey’s ambassador expressed his pleasure in working together and continuing cooperation in the field of health and said، “We are committed to cooperation in other fields to provide sustainable assistance and cooperation with Afghanistan in the field of health.”
