A countdown to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi has been launched in Turkmenistan

The countdown to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi has begun in Turkmenistan, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

A digital timer placed on a special portal counts down the remaining days until June 27 – the Day of Culture and Art Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Fragi, which falls on the birthday of the great Turkmen classic.

An online resource dedicated to Magtymguly Fragi was created to popularize his multifaceted creative heritage. In addition to the chronometer, the site presents materials about the life and era of the poet, his works and scientific articles.

According to the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, on the eve of the holiday, cultural and educational events dedicated to the anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi intensified throughout the country. National media also launch thematic columns and competitions. Thus, the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” opened a special section on the progress of preparations for the celebrations.
