Islamic Emirate called Richard Bennett’s new report “repetitive and biased”.

Islamic Emirate calls the new report of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights for Afghanistan, Richard Bennett, repetitive and biased.
Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, says that all women’s rights are protected within the framework of Islamic laws in the country.
In this regard, Fitrat said: “These accusations are repeated and biased. In Afghanistan, all the Sharia rights of the people are protected, and in Afghanistan, all the rights given to women by the Islamic Sharia are secured.”
This is despite the fact that late last night Richard Bennett expressed his concern about restrictions on education, work, arrests, disappearances and public executions in Afghanistan at the 55th meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
In this meeting, Bennett asked the international community that the normalization of relations with the Islamic Emirate should be conditional on the improvement of the human rights situation in Afghanistan.
