Increasing casualties of ISIS attack on a concert in Russia

The number of shooting deaths in a concert hall near Moscow has increased to 143 people.

According to the latest reports, around 150 other people were injured in this incident.

Following this shooting, Russian security authorities have announced that they have arrested eleven people, including four people who were directly involved in this attack.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised speech that all those who were involved in organizing and carrying out this attack will be identified and punished.

President Putin has declared public mourning for tomorrow (Sunday) throughout the country.

Russia has also said about this incident that the perpetrators of this attack wanted to flee to Ukraine.

In a newsletter, the Islamic Emirate called this attack a terrorist act and called it a clear violation of all human standards.

However, the White House has stated that there is no indication that Ukraine was involved in the attack.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby added: “Currently, there is no indication that Ukraine or Ukrainians are involved in this shooting.”

Ukraine has also denied any involvement in this attack.

ISIS claimed responsibility for this attack. Amaq News, a network affiliated with ISIS, claimed that hundreds of people were killed or injured in this attack and that the fighters of this group returned safely to their bases.
