In this meeting, the representatives of Israel, America, Britain, France and several other countries condemned Iran’s attack on Israel and called it a threat to the peace and security of the countries of the region and the world.

Robert Wood, the United States representative to the United Nations, said: “Iran’s reckless actions threaten not only the population of Israel, but also other United Nations member states in the region, including Jordan and Iraq.”

British Ambassador to the United Nations Barbara Woodward said: “Britain will continue to defend the security of Israel and all our regional partners, including Jordan and Iraq.”

Nathalie Brunhorst, France’s representative at the United Nations, said: “Iran is taking a new level of its destabilizing actions and is taking the risk of escalating military tension and will be responsible for it.”

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Glad Erdan, said: “Introduce the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.” Action must be taken now, not for the sake of Israel and not for the sake of the region, but for the sake of the world.”

At the same time, representatives of Russia and China criticized Israel and asked Tehran and Tel Aviv to refrain from provocative military actions.

Russia’s representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, said: “We pay attention to Tehran’s signals that they are not seeking further military escalation against Israel, and we ask the West and Jerusalem to follow suit and refrain from provocative use of force. refrain in the Middle East.”

The representative of Iran called the recent attack on Israel self-defense and emphasized that Tehran does not seek to expand the fighting in the region.

Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations, Saeed Irwani, said: “Iran has never sought to contribute to the conflict in the region, nor has it sought to intensify or expand tension in the entire region.”

The Secretary General of the United Nations once again asked Iran and Israel to exercise restraint and refrain from spreading tensions.
