Holding an exhibition of handicrafts and domestic products in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif

A three-day exhibition of handicrafts and domestic products under the name of “Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi” has been held in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif.

The purpose of holding this exhibition is the growth of domestic products and its introduction to the citizens.

Domestic products are exhibited in 130 booths, of which 80 booths are dedicated to women.

Asadullah Asadi, head of the Balkh Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said: “We have about 130 booths in a women’s and men’s hall, 80 of which are for women and the other 50 are for men.”

Noorul Hadi Abu Idris, deputy governor of Balkh, said: “We always told the businessmen to come and invest in Afghanistan, to establish companies and factories inside Afghanistan, and to come wherever they are in the world. Alhamdulillah, today Afghanistan is safe and secure.”

The head of the International Labor Organization in Afghanistan says that they will stay with the people of Afghanistan, especially the industrialists, and they have plans to support women in the future.

Ramin Behzad, head of the International Labor Organization in Afghanistan, said: “Over the past three years, the International Labor Organization has provided services to more than 28,000 people in northern Afghanistan and has directly provided financial support to more than a hundred small, medium and large businesses that It has led to the creation of 10,000 jobs in this region.”

The participants of this exhibition find it beneficial to launch such programs for the purpose of familiarizing people with domestic products and strengthening women’s economic activities.

Exhibitor Abdul Samad Sarvari said: “We are very happy with such programs because it is very useful for us and can increase people’s trust in domestic companies.”

Exhibitor Parvaneh Habibi told TOLOnews reporter: “Holding such exhibitions is very effective for us and we want this type of exhibitions to be held again because it is very useful for our marketing and buying and selling.”

The person in charge of organizing exhibitions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade says that 50 domestic and foreign exhibitions are going to be launched in the solar year.

Khadim Mohammad Abid, who is responsible for organizing exhibitions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said: “The Department of Exhibitions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate is planning 50 exhibitions in 1403, of which this Balkh exhibition is an example, and more exhibitions will be held and out of 50 exhibitions 9 of our exhibitions will be outside Afghanistan, such as Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Russia and Turkey.

According to the information, in recent months, the holding of exhibitions in different provinces of the country has increased and industrialists consider it beneficial for the growth of domestic production.
