The president of Egypt is going to Turkiye after 12 years

After 12 years of not so good relations between Egypt and Türkiye, Abdel Fattah Sisi; The President of Egypt is going to Ankara on an official visit today, Wednesday, 14th of Sanbli. While last year, Recep Tayyip Erdogan; Turkish President went to Cairo to improve relations. Turkish Presidential Office said in a statement that during Sisi’s visit, relations between Turkey and Egypt will be reviewed in all aspects and joint steps will be taken to develop further cooperation. Discussions about current regional and global issues, especially Israel’s attacks on Gaza, are among the other topics discussed by Turkish and Egyptian officials. Abdel Fattah Sisi will arrive in Ankara this afternoon.
