Functions of the Ministry of Education, More than 21,000 Islamic education centers have been established

They added that during this period, more than 617,000 volumes of textbooks have been distributed to Islamic education centers in the country.

Karamatullah Akhundzadeh, Minister of Islamic Education of the Ministry of Education, said in this program: “21,257 centers of Islamic education have been established across the country, of which 19,669 are Madrassas, 1,277 are Darul-Hafaz, 115 are Darul Uloom and 39 are Dar Laitam.”

Providing literacy services for more than 160,000 people, reviewing the first to sixth grade curriculum, hiring 50,000 teachers and service workers for Islamic education centers, holding capacity building programs for more than 248,000 employees of the Ministry of Education and teachers, printing more than 294,000 volumes of literacy books and Obtaining the strain stabilization test from 33,900 religious scholars is said to be one of the other achievements of this ministry in the past year.

According to the officials, in the past one year, 1 billion and 500 million Afghanis of debt, guarantees and guarantees of this ministry have been fixed and discussed with the Ministry of Finance. The total number of students of private and public schools has reached more than ten million and 914 thousand.

Karamatullah Akhundzadeh added: “The total number of students in the Emirati and private schools of general education has reached 10,914,380 students.”
