Acting Int. Minister: Global Dissatisfaction with Interim Govt Unjustified

Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, the acting Minister of Interior, said that the global community is dissatisfied with the interim government because it has not complied with some of their demands.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony for pilots, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani described this global dissatisfaction as unfounded.

The acting Minister of Interior said: “If the world is upset with us because we do not provide freedom in the form of a negotiation, like the condemned previous regime, and they are dissatisfied with this matter, then this dissatisfaction is baseless and far from justice.”

He also mentioned in his speech the efforts of the Islamic Emirate to build a strong air force in the country.

Haqqani said that during the operations of the Islamic Emirate against the forces of the former government, they did not receive any air support for hours.

The acting Minister of Interior added: “During the period of Jihad, we saw that when we confronted local forces in battle, we fought against them for twenty-four hours, but there was no air movement from the opposite side.”

The Chief of Staff of the Islamic Emirate also criticized the pilots of the former government who transferred military helicopters to Uzbekistan, saying that now the United States seeks to hand these helicopters over to another country.

Fasihuddin Fitrat, the Chief of Staff of the Islamic Emirate, said: “Many of our aircraft, which were the assets of this oppressed, poor, and war-torn nation, were taken to neighboring countries and handed over, and now the Americans are deciding about those aircraft and are seeking to deliver them to other countries.”

In this program, which was also attended by the acting Minister of Higher Education, the leader of the Islamic Emirate was described as aiming to enforce Islam and strengthen Sharia law in the country, adding that pursuing, respecting, and supporting this policy is the duty of officials.

Neda Mohammad Nadim, the acting Minister of Higher Education, said: “Every official in their respective responsibility, at any level, is obligated to pursue, respect, and support this policy.”

The previous day, three pilots graduated from the University of Air Defense Forces, and another 120 individuals were recruited at this university.
