Takayoshi Kuromaya and Khalilur Rahman Haqqani talked about Japan’s aid to Afghanistan

Japan’s ambassador to Kabul, Takayoshi Kuromaya, has discussed various issues, including the country’s humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, in a meeting with Khalil al-Rahman Haqqani, Acting Minister of Refugees and Returnees.

The Ministry of Migrants and Returnees has written in a newsletter quoting Mr. Kuromaya that Japan intends to continue its talks and relations with Afghanistan at a high level. He added that this country’s aid to Afghanistan will continue.

While appreciating Japan’s humanitarian aid in various sectors, Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani has called for assistance in the fields of shelter, education, health, professional training and job opportunities for Afghans returning from Pakistan and internally displaced persons.
