Preparation for launching Tehran-Van passenger train

Jabar Ali Zakari, CEO of Iran Railways, announced: We are looking for the development of the passenger rail fleet; Tehran-Van and Tabriz-Van passenger train will be launched in the near future.

According to “Tasnim” news agency, he said at the meeting of the notification of the executive operation contract of the Kerman-Sirjan railway line: “We are looking for it and we will implement the program in the shortest possible time.” Based on this, the Tehran-Van train will run on this route twice a week.
