Islamic Emirate: Pakistan Should Find Internal Solutions for Its Problems
The Islamic Emirate, rejecting the recent claims by Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, has called on Islamabad to not accuse Afghanistan’s caretaker government.
Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, responded to this claim by saying that the caretaker government does not allow anyone to use Afghan soil against other countries.
The deputy spokesperson added: “We strongly reject this claim. Such issues have nothing to do with us. The Islamic Emirate does not allow anyone to use Afghanistan’s soil against other countries, and Afghanistan no longer poses a threat to anyone. Pakistan should not shift its responsibilities onto us and should find internal solutions for its own problems.”
After deadly attacks on Pakistani military personnel in Quetta, Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif claimed that Afghan soil is being used against his country. He stated that the use of Afghan territory is an act of aggression against Pakistan.
According to him, the caretaker government of Afghanistan has not taken practical measures against terrorist groups.
He added: “The Afghan government does nothing against them and does not even consider that its land is being used against Pakistan. We will make a decision on this, and we must take action.”
“The position of the Islamic Emirate is clear: Afghan soil cannot be a threat to anyone in the region. However, reaching an agreement requires dialogue between both sides to address their concerns,” Sayed Mohammad Moqadam Amin, a political analyst, told .
Earlier, alongside Pakistan’s defense minister, Pakistan’s deputy representative at the United Nations also claimed that the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan has hideouts in Afghanistan, an assertion that the Islamic Emirate dismissed as baseless.
