Kabir: Countries Should Not Link Their Internal Failures to Islamic Emirate

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, the Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs, stated in a program held in Kabul yesterday that some countries associate their failures with Afghanistan. He did not mention any specific country.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that defending Afghanistan’s territory and people is one of the responsibilities of the caretaker government. He added that security and stability in Afghanistan benefit all regional and global countries.

According to Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, such an approach could pose challenges to regional stability.

In this program, he said: “Certain countries should not blame the Islamic Emirate for their failures in domestic policies and disrupt regional stability and order. We believe stability in Afghanistan is in the interest of the region and the world, and only the Islamic Emirate can bring this stability and security.”

Mawlawi Abdul Kabir further stated that countries seeking to achieve their goals in Afghanistan through pressure should learn from the history of the Afghan people.

The Deputy Prime Minister said: “We invite those who do not have good intentions towards Afghanistan or aim to achieve their objectives through pressure to revisit Afghanistan’s history and reflect on it.”

This senior official of the caretaker government once again described the political relations of the government with other countries as improving and added that progress has been made in this regard.

“While there are challenges to Afghanistan’s foreign policy, there have also been achievements. However, unfortunately, the Afghan government has not yet adopted a comprehensive foreign policy to coordinate all governmental and non-governmental institutions to achieve its goals,” said Fazl Rahman Oria, a political analyst.

These remarks about improving relations with other countries come at a time when no country has officially recognized the caretaker government.
