Trump: If There Is No Deal with Iran, I Will Blame J.D. Vance

US President Donald Trump has said that if no agreement is reached between the United States and Iran, the responsibility will fall on his deputy, J.D. Vance, but if an agreement is reached, he himself will take the credit.
Trump, who spoke last night (Afghanistan time) about the war with Iran, once again said that the Iranian government wants to reach an agreement with them.
The US president also said that his goal was not regime change in Iran, but according to him, that has happened.
He added, “Talks are still ongoing. We did not want regime change, but it has happened because their main leaders have died and the new group is more rational and less radicalized.”
Trump thanked his allies in the Middle East, namely Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain, and said he would not allow them to be hurt.
He also blamed Iran for the rise in oil prices and said that the country had targeted commercial ships.
America will very soon fully achieve its military objectives. We will launch heavy strikes on Iran over the next two or three weeks, Trump added.
The US president also placed responsibility for keeping the Strait of Hormuz open on other countries.
This comes as Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a letter to the American people, said that they have no enmity with them, with the people of Europe, or with their neighboring countries, and that they have never started a war against the United States.
Pezeshkian said that they have always only been forced into war in order to defend their own territory.
