Islamic Emirate rejects Dutch organization’s report on children’s rights in Afghanistan

Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, rejected a report by a Dutch organization on the situation of children’s rights in Afghanistan, calling it “baseless and far from reality.”

He said that the Islamic Emirate has paid special attention to ensuring children’s rights in various sectors, especially education and health, and has undertaken the necessary programs in this regard.

Fitrat also emphasized that the law prohibiting hard labor for children is being implemented seriously and that necessary measures are continuing to protect children in the country.
