A three-day exhibition named after Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi has opened in Balkh to support domestic products.

Manufacturers and producers have displayed their products in more than 170 booths at the exhibition.

Masih Mohammadi, organizer of the exhibition, said: “Around 170 booths have been allocated at this exhibition, with companies from Kabul, Nangarhar, and Ghazni taking part.”

Meanwhile, a number of participants welcomed the exhibition, saying such events provide a good opportunity to introduce products, expand markets, and strengthen domestic production.

Local officials in Balkh assured that support programs for manufacturers and producers in the province will continue and be expanded.

They also called on investors to invest in the country to contribute to the growth of domestic production and economic development.
