Trade Exhibition Opens in Nangarhar to Support Local Industry

A three-day exhibition of locally made products has opened in Nangarhar Province, organized by a private company.
Officials said nearly 100 booths are displaying a wide range of products. The exhibition aims to help Afghan-made products find better markets and support the growth of domestic industries.
The organizer of the exhibition, Masood Haqmal, said: “Nearly 100 manufacturers from different provinces have opened booths, displaying construction materials, agricultural products, dairy products and food items.”
Some participants said such exhibitions are an effective way to promote locally made products and expand their markets.
Exhibitor Ajmal Shirzad said: “These exhibitions are very useful, especially in Nangarhar, because they introduce our products to people across Afghanistan and encourage them to use locally made goods.”
Meanwhile, Nangarhar’s local officials assured investors and manufacturers that they are committed to providing all necessary facilities to support investment in the province.
Director of Industry and Commerce in Nangarhar, Abdul Basir Pacha, said: “We assure all manufacturers and traders that these exhibitions are an important achievement for marketing. They help businesses sign contracts, introduce products to the public and increase their use.”
In recent months, similar exhibitions have been held across different provinces of Afghanistan. Manufacturers and producers say they have helped improve marketing opportunities and increase support for locally made products.
