Ashtarli and Khadir districts of Daikundi province fell to the Taliban

Sources in Daikundi report the fall of Khadir and Ashtarli districts to the Taliban.

A security source, who did not want to be named, said that Taliban fighters had captured Ashtarli district last night and Khadir district this morning.

The source says that the command centers of both districts have completely fallen into the hands of Taliban fighters.

According to the source, the capital of Daikundi province is also in danger of falling due to the increase of Taliban attacks on Nili city.

The Taliban have not said anything so far.
