Two people were arrested in connection with the murder of four women in Mazar-e-Sharif
The Taliban government’s interior ministry announced the arrest of two people in connection with the mysterious murder of four female civil activists in the capital of Balkh province.
The ministry said in a statement issued today that two people from the fifth security district of Mazar-e-Sharif have been arrested in connection with the case of receiving four bodies in a residential house in the town of Khalid bin Waleed.
The statement added that the detainees admitted in the initial investigation that the women had been requested by them.
According to the case file, these people have been referred to the court.
The bodies of the four women, who are said to have been civil activists, were reportedly found in a residential house in the town of Khalid bin Waleed in the first district of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province.
