A money changer in Sar-e Pol was killed by unknown individuals

Sar-e-Pul security officials report that an exchange office was killed by unknown individuals in the province.
Professor Moaz, the police chief of Sancharak district of Sar-e-Pul province, said that a money changer was killed by unknown individuals yesterday evening on the road between Tabar village and Sancharak district of the province.
Mu’adh named Aref Moradi as one of the money changers, adding that he was taken down from his personal car when he returned home and then shot.
The police chief of Sancharak district in Sar-e-Pul said that the money changer had 50,000 afghanis in cash and mobile phones in his pocket, adding that the motive for the murder could be personal animosity.
Meanwhile, Habiba al-Rahman, the money changer’s brother, says that her brother brings home the money from his shop every night and that he was killed when he returning home.
However, despite the Taliban claiming that security has been restored throughout the country, targeted killings and atrocities are still of the country’s security challenges.
