National Resistance Front: A Taliban helicopter was shot down in Panjshir

The National Resistance Front has announced that a Taliban helicopter has been shot down in Panjshir province.

Khalid Amiri, one of the commanders of this front, wrote in a tweet that a Taliban helicopter was shot down by the forces of this front in Panjshir province.

He added that the forces of the National Resistance Front treat Taliban prisoners in accordance with international law of war.

 The commander of the Resistance Front further stressed that the Taliban should not try to free their captives through military pressure.

However, Taliban officials in Panjshir province denied that the helicopter had been shot down, saying it had an emergency landing due to technical problems.
