Russia warned about Ukraine’s access to helicopters stolen from Afghanistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has warned about the possibility of Ukraine getting access to helicopters stolen from Afghanistan.
According to Sputnik, Zamir Kabulov, Russia’s special representative for Afghanistan affairs and the second director of Asia in the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned about the possibility of Ukraine accessing the stolen helicopters of Afghanistan and said that Moscow does not want this to happen.
He said: It is important for us that those helicopters and airplanes that arrived in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, when the military leaders and Afghan soldiers fled and hijacked dozens of helicopters and airplanes, reach Ukraine.
According to him, at the time of the fall of the previous government of Afghanistan, about 60 helicopters and planes were transferred to Tajikistan and about 40 to 50 helicopters and planes were also transferred to Uzbekistan.
After coming to power, the Taliban repeatedly warned the countries of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to hand over the helicopters transferred to those countries to Afghanistan, but the US defense officials say that the governments of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have no plans to hand over the planes and helicopters to the Taliban.
