Breshna announced the resolution of the technical problem in the electricity imported from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan

The Afghanistan Electricity Company has announced the restoration of a cut circuit of electricity imported from Uzbekistan to the country.

The Afghanistan Electricity Supply Company (Brashna) wrote in a tweet that an imported electricity circuit from Uzbekistan has been reconnected to the country, which was cut off due to technical problems.

Breshna said that with the connection of this imported electricity circuit of Uzbekistan, the electricity of 18 provinces, including Kabul, will be connected normally.

Earlier, the officials of this company said that one of the electricity circuits imported from Uzbekistan was cut off due to a technical problem and will be reactivated in two days.

Afghanistan buys most of its electricity consumption from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran and imports it through electricity transmission networks.

According to the statistics provided, this country buys 280 million dollars of electricity from its neighboring countries every year.
