The Minister of Defense of the Taliban met with the Emir of the United Arab Emirates

The Ministry of Defense of the interim government of the Taliban has announced that the head of this ministry met with the Emir of the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry’s announcement states that Maulvi Muhammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Acting Minister of Defense, met with Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Emir of the United Arab Emirates, at the Shahi Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Defense of the Taliban added that in this meeting, the officials of both countries discussed and exchanged opinions on the expansion of comprehensive relations and cooperation and some other important issues.
Maulvi Mohammad Yaqoob, the Taliban’s Acting Minister of Defense, had left for the United Arab Emirates yesterday at the head of a delegation.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the caretaker government of the Taliban, wrote in a tweet that during this trip, the strengthening of relations between the two countries, solving the problems of Afghans living in that country and some other important issues will be discussed.
The Taliban spokesman added that the government of this group wants good relations with all countries, especially Islamic countries.
