The Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan emphasized the creation of a negotiation group about Afghanistan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan says that a negotiation group about Afghanistan should be formed by the countries of the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Nurov, has stated that the establishment of a negotiation group on Afghanistan by the countries of the region will provide a wide opportunity for regional cooperation with Afghanistan’s neighbors.

He said: “The joint practical implementation of these initiatives and other initiatives of the Republic of Uzbekistan will create a vast space for interregional cooperation, free from confrontation and zero-sum competition.”
