Pakistan’s Defense Minister: Afghan soil is being used against Pakistan

Pakistan’s defense minister has said that contrary to the agreement made by the Taliban, Afghanistan’s soil is being used against his country.
Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said in an interview with Geonews that contrary to the agreement made by the Taliban with the government of Islamabad, Afghanistan’s soil is being used against Pakistan.
Previously, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, has also said that the opposition groups of his country, including the TTP, are actively present in the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, and that his country has the right to take direct action against them.
The foreign minister of Pakistan added that his country expected the interim government of the Taliban in Afghanistan to not allow the TTP to attack Pakistan’s territory according to the Doha agreement.
Recently, Rana Thanawallah, the Minister of Interior Affairs of Pakistan, had also said that the TTP is present inside the territory of Afghanistan and if Islamabad needs it, it will carry out military operations against them.
However, the Ministry of Defense of the caretaker government of the Taliban denied the presence of the TTP in Afghanistan and called this claim baseless.
