Mujahid deplores the statements of Pakistani authorities regarding the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan
The spokesman of the Taliban has expressed his regret in response to the recent statements of the Pakistani authorities regarding the presence of terrorist groups, including the TTP, in Afghanistan.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the caretaker government of the Taliban, said in a statement that recently, false statements are being made by Pakistani officials regarding Afghanistan, which the government of this group considers as regrettable.
Mr. Mujahid said: “We are committed to this goal, but the Pakistani side also has a responsibility to try to control the situation and avoid baseless and provocative statements, because such talks and creating mistrust are not in the interest of anyone.”
According to him, the Islamic Emirate is making every effort to ensure that Afghanistan’s soil will not be used against any country, not only Pakistan.
It should be noted that some Pakistani officials have recently claimed that terrorist groups including TTP are present in Afghanistan and are planning attacks against Pakistan from there.
