Hundreds of Khost residents protested in response to the burning of the Koran in Sweden

Sources in Khost say that hundreds of residents of this province have taken to the streets to protest the burning of a copy of the Quran by a Swedish politician.
These protesters say that this action of the Swedish politician is an insult to the holy things of Islam, and Islamic countries should make the Swedish government accountable.
Two days ago, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban government strongly condemned the “desecration and burning” of the Quran in Sweden.
In a statement, the ministry asked the Swedish government to punish the perpetrator of this incident and not allow such persons to “repeat such barbaric and shameful acts against the religion of Islam and Muslims” in the future.
It is worth mentioning that a Swedish right-wing politician set fire to a copy of the Quran during a demonstration in front of the Turkish embassy.
This event took place after Turkey, which is a member of NATO, opposed Sweden’s joining the alliance.
