Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, wrote in a tweet that he will travel to Pakistan, Germany and Switzerland to consult with the authorities about supporting the people of Afghanistan.

He wrote: “From January 29 to February 4, I will travel to Pakistan, Germany and Switzerland to consult with partners, Afghans and humanitarian aid organizations about the extraordinary challenges we face in supporting the people of Afghanistan. “
