Zalmay Khalilzad, the former representative of the US in Afghanistan peace affairs and the facilitator of the Doha agreement, wrote in a tweet that ISIS is the common enemy of the Taliban and the international community, and cooperation against ISIS can be an important part of future relations.
Khalilzad added: “Among the available options, the full implementation of the Doha Agreement is the best way forward and addresses all the concerns of Afghans and the international community.”
It should be mentioned that the ISIS group has carried out several terrorist attacks in Kabul and some provinces of Afghanistan after the Taliban came to power.
At the same time, Taliban officials also say that during the past year, several ISIS hideouts have been destroyed in Kabul and provinces.
Recently, the General Directorate of Intelligence of this group has announced that it has destroyed an ISIS hideout in Kabul and as a result 3 members of ISIS have been killed.
