Taliban asked Japan to provide scholarships to Afghan youth

In a meeting with Takashi Utaka, the ambassador of Japan in Kabul, the Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban requested Japan’s cooperation in the field of training experienced teachers.
Nada Mohammad Nadim, Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban, said in this meeting that Afghanistan, in addition to construction projects in educational and medical institutions, also wants cooperation from Japan in the field of scholarships.
In this meeting, the ambassador of Japan also spoke about the sharing of scientific and research experiences between the two countries and said that his country wants to expand educational relations with Afghanistan.
He added that his country stands by the people of Afghanistan and continues to provide humanitarian aid.
