A mortar shell explosion in Ghor killed a child

The local authorities in Ghor say that a child died as a result of the explosion of a mortar head in this province.

Officials at the Ghor Police Command say that this incident took place in “Ni Watan” village of Chahar Sadeh district of this province as a result of the explosion of a mortar head that was left over from the wars.

According to them, as a result of this incident, one child died and another child was injured.

It should be noted that the explosion of unexploded ordnance in most provinces of Afghanistan has killed people, including children.
