The Human Rights Commission expressed its concern about the situation of immigrants in Iran

The Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan, which was dissolved after the Taliban took over, expressed concern about the situation of Afghan immigrants in Iran and asked the government of that country to respect the principles and standards of human rights for immigrants.
This commission said in a statement yesterday (Saturday) that Afghan immigrants in Iran, especially in the city of Isfahan, are facing increasing restrictions and these discriminatory measures limit their access to other job opportunities.
The Independent Human Rights Commission of Afghanistan has expressed concern about the situation of Afghan immigrants in Iran and asked the government of that country and other relevant authorities to respect the principles and standards of human rights for immigrants and reconsider their policies.
This commission also asked all human rights organizations inside and outside Iran to start support campaigns in this field and to demand accountability from the Iranian government, especially regarding the human rights of Afghan immigrants who constitute a significant population.
It should be mentioned that Iran is one of the countries that has the most immigrants from Afghanistan.
