A young woman committed suicide in Takhar

Local sources in Takhar say that a young woman in this province committed suicide by eating poison.

Sources say that this lady was 23 years old and committed suicide on Thursday in “Kaftar Ali” village of Yangi Qala district of Takhar province.

At the same time, the officials of the Takhar Police Command say that this lady’s name is Tahereh and she committed suicide by eating rat poison.

According to the authorities, the cause of this woman’s suicide was family problems, and further investigations are underway in relation to this event.

It should be noted that the number of suicides in Afghanistan has increased in recent years.
