Red Cross activities have expanded in Afghanistan

Officials of the International Committee of the Red Cross say that the activities of this organization have increased since the domination of the Islamic Emirate.

Officials of this organization made these statements in a meeting in Kandahar with local authorities and said that they will work with the coordination of the government.

They noted that these activities were focused on health services, providing safe drinking water and also helping families in need.

Meanwhile, the local authorities of Kandahar also asked this committee to cooperate more in the field of providing health services, and the Islamic Emirate is ready for any kind of cooperation with this organization.

It should be noted that the Red Cross has played an effective role in transporting and treating the wounded during conflicts and wars in the past four decades in Afghanistan.
