The oil extraction work started in the Qashqara area of Sarpol
The Ministry of Finance of the Taliban has announced the start of oil extraction in Qashqara region of Sarpul province.
The Ministry wrote in a tweet that the State Oil and Gas Company of the Ministry of Finance and the Chinese contracting company (Afchin) have jointly opened a new extraction well in the Qashqara oil field.
The Ministry of Finance added that the opening ceremony of this oil well was attended by Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mohammad Nasir Rahimi, General Manager of the State Oil and Gas Company of the Ministry of Finance, and a number of officials.
According to this ministry, about 70 tons of crude oil is currently extracted from the mentioned well within 24 hours, and in the near future, its extraction level will reach 100 tons.
