Smuggling of precious stones was prevented at the Spin Boldek border

The press office of the Kandahar province official has announced that the smuggling of precious stones has been prevented at the Spinboldak border.
In the announcement, it is stated that the border customs officers of Spin Boldak, Kandahar province, seized 9.5 kg of precious stones embedded in a cargo truck that was being smuggled to Pakistan.
The announcement added that among these gemstones, there is a type weighing 1.5 kg and similar to Badakhshan lapis lazuli, which is cut into 3 spherical shapes.
At the same time, the border security officials of Spin Boldak say that one person has been arrested and is under investigation in connection with the smuggling of these stones.
