Kabul Municipality has collected more than 4 billion in revenue in the past year

Kabul Municipality officials say that they have collected more than 4 billion Afghanis in revenue in the past year.

Maulvi Mohammad Khaled Sajestani, the deputy director of urban services and environmental protection of Kabul Municipality, said in a news conference that this institution has earned four billion and 228 million Afghani from its sources of income in the past one year.

He added that during the past year, the survey and design of 125 kilometers of roads have been completed according to transportation standards and the design of 10 kilometers of canals.

According to the vice president of Kabul Municipality, this institution, from its internal budget, during this period, has implemented various projects in the areas of construction of urban roads, construction of streams and canals for surface water, improvement of public transportation infrastructure, planning of urban development, maintenance and care of urban infrastructure and construction of urban buildings.

Also in this program, Nematullah Barakzai, the representative and adviser of cultural affairs of Kabul Municipality, said that this institution is committed to take necessary and timely measures in the part of sustainable development of the city, providing standard services and solving the problems of Kabul citizens.
